Graduate opportunities

I welcome the interest of potential graduate students concerning our research program. I am devoted to mentoring graduate students as research leaders and natural resource managers for future generations. I believe that making a decision about graduate school is very serious and should be made carefully. You should be concerned about whether we can provide you with the training, mentoring, and environment that you need to meet your professional goals. picAt the same time, I am concerned about your level of academic training and background, research experience, and fit within our research program. Research in my laboratory is primarily focused on the conservation biology of amphibians with emphasis on ecological and behavioral mechanisms.

Please feel free to contact me by e-mail (SemlitschR@missouri.edu) to discuss your plans and goals. You are welcome to visit anytime but our division holds formal interviews in February each year. Please check out our website more, especially current projects and past graduate students. Our divisional website has details about deadlines and application procedures.
