Finger Lakes State Park (2000)

This was the first camping trip for Taylor - it was great quality bonding time from dad and Tay! She was at the end of the chicken poc's, hence all the red spots. We went to the park on Saturday morning and came home Sunday afternoon, we Janet and Kasey came to visit us. Janet's comment was certainly memorable: "No way, neither of you grubs are getting into my car!" Camping is great for that, getting dirty and grubby that is.

Finger Lakes State Park (2001)

This was the first whole family camping trip with mom, dad, Taylor and Kasey. Worked out amazingly well considering. We felt that Taylor was a bit bored early in the trip so Janet ran back to Columbia to see if one of the Neighbor's kids (and one of Tay's best friends), Maddie Watson, could join us and provide some company for Taylor. While this was good for Taylor is was too distracting for Kasey so Janet and I got no fireside time kidless...but hey that's what family camping is about right?
