Mike's
research interests are mostly concerned with sexual selection – particularly the
evolution of male sexual displays and female mate choice. He is currently working
on good genes in post-metamorphic Hyla versicolor and predator induced
changes in larval growth. He also likes romantic dinners, long walks on the beach,
and watching television in his underwear.
Mike has returned to his native Australia working as a research associate at the Arthur Rylah Institute,
but returns occasionally to continue his collaborative research with the Gerhardt lab.
