My general research interest is in
communication. My current thesis research is investigating the
response of female wood crickets (Gryllus
vernalis) to variations of conspecific and heterospecific calling song, to
determine how often females make mating mistakes. Additionally, I am
looking for differences in responses of females from areas of sympatry with the
presumed sister species Gryllus fultoni versus responses of females from
areas of allopatry.
