Our laboratory is broadly interested in tropical plant diversification and the evolution of plant form.

We use a combination of molecular phylogenetics, development and morphology to study flowering plant diversification and the importance of morphology in this process. Our focus are the early diverging lineages of angiosperms. Our research includes field and laboratory work.
